Carl Källén is a highly experienced business professional with a successful career spanning over 20 years in international business development, general management, and sales management. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Boston College, Chestnut Hill and a Master of Science in International Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. Throughout his career, he has held multiple board and committee positions in various chambers of commerce such as the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, Florida, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK, London and the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, Chicago. At SACC Chicago, he has served as VP of Membership. President and has most recently taken on the role as Chairman of the Board.
Carl's involvement with these chambers has provided him with a profound understanding of how to nurture international business partnerships and promote trade between countries, particularly between the US and Sweden. In addition, he has worked extensively in international business with companies like Procter & Gamble, Ericsson, Sony, Samsung, Zebra Technologies, and Trustonic, at HQ, regional and local levels.
Renowned for his business acumen, expansive international network, effective communication skills, and ability to forge strong partnerships with clients and organizations, Carl is deeply committed to promoting economic development.
