​​​​​​​Joakim Weidemanis is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Johnson Controls where he leads 100,000 team members passionate about making buildings smarter and better for everyone, leveraging broad sets of technologies and lifecycle services to help customers reach their goals and contribute positively to the environment and communities we serve.

Weidemanis is a seasoned operator with a successful track record in leading global technology-driven businesses and delivering profitable growth. He brings extensive experience scaling global companies from a foundation of customer orientation, innovation and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Weidemanis held several executive leadership roles over his 13-year career at Danaher Corporation, across healthcare, industrial and utility technology businesses. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, Diagnostics and China. During his tenure, he contributed meaningfully to the evolution of the Danaher Business System in growth, innovation, lean and leadership domains. Earlier in his career, he held executive positions of increasing operational responsibility at Mettler Toledo and ABB.

Weidemanis holds a Master of Sciences degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Anders Gustafsson currently serves as the Chair of the Board for Zebra Technologies (ZBRA). He previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Director at Zebra from 2007 to 2023. Anders is also a member of the Board of Directors for International Paper (IP), where he chairs the Audit Committee. Additionally, he serves on the NetApp (NTAP) Board as an Audit Committee member.

Before joining Zebra, Anders was the Chief Executive Officer of Spirent Communications plc. He is actively involved in the community, serving on the Technology Committee for the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. Anders holds degrees from Harvard Business School and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.


Fredrik Nilsson

Fredrik Nilsson, based out of Boston (MA) is Vice President of the Americas at Axis Communications, at $2B global leader in video surveillance and security. Since assuming responsibility for the Americas in 2003, revenues have grown organically from $20M to over $1B, due to in part operating more than 20 Axis Experience Centers, serving a wide partner network with most Fortune 50 companies and large federal agencies as customers.

Mr. Nilsson has been instrumental in leading the shift from analog CCTV to network video, having served on the Security Industry Association’s Board of Directors, and authoring the book “Intelligent Network Video”. In 2016, Mr. Nilsson received the prestigious George R. Lippert Memorial Award and was inducted into the Security Sales & Integration Industry Hall of Fame in 2017. Mr. Nilsson currently sits on the Board of Directors for MSAB, the global leader in mobile forensic technology. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC).

A graduate of the Lund Institute of Technology, he holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and postgraduate studies in economics, and started his career at ABB in Sweden and Canada.

Michaela Holmström works for Business Sweden in Chicago, where she supports Swedish companies in entering and expanding in the North American market, with a primary focus on the industrials sector. She works with both innovative SMEs and some of Sweden’s largest global corporations to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and accelerate growth.

In addition to her role at Business Sweden, Michaela serves as Vice President of Young Professionals on SACC Chicago’s Board of Directors. Originally from Sweden, she has also lived and worked in France, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria, experiences that have strengthened her passion for cross-cultural collaboration. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University.
