Agneta Rosenberg, President and Founder Agneta Rosenberg is the president and founder of Interim Ventures that assists Swedish IT and Internet companies to reduce time and expense to the U.S. market, close initial customer and partner deals and build the foundation for successful expansion. Agneta is a native of Sweden with more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. technology market. From 1994 - 2000, she worked as a Marketing Strategy Consultant and as the IT Practice Team Leader at the Swedish Trade Council - North America. From 1984 to 1994, she held various positions at IBM Midwestern Area, including Business Recovery Consultant, Marketing Representative and Systems Engineer. Agneta initially came to the United States in 1982 to work as an international trainee at the IBM Videotex Market Development group in White Plains, NY. Agneta graduated from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1982, with a BA in International Marketing and Finance. She has studied Journalism at Northwestern University and Digital Strategy and Innovation at the University of Chicago. She is conversational in French and fluent in English and Swedish. Agneta is a member of the Chicago Technology Executives Club, the Chicago Software Association and Chicago Women in Technology. She is a board member of Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce-Chicago and the past president of the Chicago Chapter of Swedish Women’s Educational Association (SWEA).
